We support young cancer patients who are financially unable to bear the burden of their life-saving treatments and who do not qualify for any government aids. This initiative continues around the year in conjunction with the Gujarat Cancer Society.
For more than two decades, we have been actively managing public parks and gardens as our exclusive sponsors in Ahmedabad. We have completely re-designed and re-furbished them with plantations, fountains, children’s recreation areas, jogging tracks, yoga spaces and illuminations. These parks include Law Garden, Kamala Nehru Udhyan, Mithakhali Six Roads Island, Ahmedabad International Airport Circle Island etc. They have become daily destinations and vital nerve centres of the urban lives of the city, for thousands of people.
On the cultural and literature front, we are actively involved in donating to and facilitating the literary activities by associating ourselves with Niranjan Bhagat Memorial Trust in Ahmedabad.
We established the ‘Lalita Hargovandas Dialysis Centre’ by donating a Dialysis facility to Gujarat Cancer Society at their Vasana campus. Here, an integrated Dialysis facility with the most modern equipment is available for the lower-income group patients to get dialysis treatment free of charge under the Ayushyaman Bharat scheme.
Additionally the group also contributes towards initiatives that support slum clearance, city beautification, environment sustainability and preservation of the heritage and culture of India.
